A controversy has emerged regarding the manner in which Namal Rajapaksa, current Member of Parliament, reportedly faced his final year law College examination 11 years ago.
Social activist Jamuni Kamanta Thushara submitted a formal complaint to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) today, requesting an inquiry into the matter.
Speaking to the media after lodging the complaint, Jamuni Kamanta Thushara alleged that Namal Rajapaksa had completed his final law College examination with the assistance of two lawyers.
“This raises serious concerns about the integrity of the examination process and the ethical conduct of those involved,” Thushara remarked, calling for a transparent investigation into the allegations.
The complaint has sparked public interest and discussions surrounding accountability and fairness in the country’s education system.
