State Minister of Power and Energy, D.V. Chanaka, has communicated the directive for fuel companies to sustain sufficient stocks during the festive season, ensuring a seamless fuel supply to the public.
The State Minister specifically directed state-owned CEYPETCO, Lanka IOC, and SINOPEC to adhere to this advisory. In his instructions, he emphasized the importance of maintaining a minimum of 50% stock levels to guarantee an uninterrupted and steady fuel supply throughout the festive period.
