The Distilleries Company of Sri Lanka (DCSL) has disclosed its decision to raise the prices of its alcoholic beverages, effective January 1, 2024, in response to the recent Value-Added Tax (VAT) revision.
The forthcoming price adjustments will be as follows:
- 750ml bottles: Increase of Rs. 90
- 375ml bottles: Increase of Rs. 50
- 180ml bottles: Increase of Rs. 20
