In light of the recent imposition of the new Value Added Tax (VAT), the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) has undertaken a revision of its fuel prices, effective from midnight yesterday.
The revised fuel prices are as follows:
- Lanka Petrol 92 Octane:
- Previous Price: Rs. 346 per litre
- Increase: Rs. 20
- New Retail Price: Rs. 366 per litre
- Lanka Petrol 95 Octane Euro 4:
- Previous Price: Rs. 426 per litre
- Increase: Rs. 38
- New Retail Price: Rs. 464 per litre
- Lanka Auto Diesel:
- Previous Price: Rs. 329 per litre
- Increase: Rs. 29
- New Retail Price: Rs. 358 per litre
- Lanka Super Diesel 4 Star Euro 4:
- Previous Price: Rs. 434 per litre
- Increase: Rs. 41
- New Retail Price: Rs. 475 per litre
- Lanka Kerosene:
- Previous Price: Rs. 247 per litre
- Reduction: Rs. 11
- New Retail Price: Rs. 236 per litre
These adjustments reflect the CPC’s response to the new tax regulations and aim to align with the prevailing market conditions. Consumers are urged to take note of these changes as they come into effect immediately.
