Deadline Extended for Sri Lankan Residents Over 40 to Apply for National Identity Card

The deadline for Sri Lankan residents over 40 who lack a national identity card has been extended to June 30.

Commissioner General of Registration of Persons, Pradeep Saputanthri, announced that the program is designed to assist those unable to obtain an ID card due to missing birth certificates.

Applicants can submit their applications through their Grama Niladharis.
