Minister Manusha Nanayakkara Warns of Chaos If President Had Not Taken Charge

Labour and Foreign Employment Minister Manusha Nanayakkara said  (06th) in Matara that the waves of negativity that spread in the name of ‘Eka Mitata’ have collapsed. If President Ranil Wickremesinghe had not taken over the country, Sri Lanka would have become a Kenya that set the Parliament on fire.

The minister said this while participating in the ‘Smart Youth Club’ program of the ‘Jayagamu Sri Lanka’ day – two programs held at Hakmana Danny Abeywickrama Stadium.

The minister said that standing up for the need is more important than the party he is working for and that decisions should be made thinking about the right direction for the country.

“When a group ran away saying this could not be accepted, another group took it and led the country forward. The country’s people kept hope, suffered, and made commitments and endured it. Our people were waiting for a light to appear from the corner of the tunnal, making commitments. In that case, they asked us not to send dollars to our overseas workers. Others asked to bring down the country. At that time, we brought 12 billion dollars from foreign workers to the country.” The minister said.

“When Korea and Japan moove fowerd , their main factor was the labour force. Today we are at the lowest place in the world in terms of labour productivity. The ability to keep up with modern technology is the same. But we have the champion intelligence and the ability to grasp something. If we want to prepare the worker to fit the new work world. We, our parents, you, and tomorrow’s children will learn from the education system to the modern world Need to match.

Factories open today. The world’s job market is opening up. We don’t deserve it. The teams we send to Israel cannot reach its level of effectiveness. Our labour force cannot supply the market demand in Korea. In order to do this, you need to strengthen yourself to move forward as a waddo in the labour market in Sri Lanka and abroad. Mental strength is required as well as practical training to strengthen you.

As the Ministry in charge of the workforce, we are starting this ‘Smart Youth’ program to face, prepare and strengthen it. The President is ready to give government support to those who want to receive vocational training here. Money has been prepared for that through the President’s Fund. President Ranil Wickremesinghe has decided that if you want to study the hotel industry, your expenses will be borne by the Presidential Fund. In the coming days, you can register for it on the website of the Presidential Secretariat and contact through the Divisional Secretariats.

Keppetipola became a national hero because he stood where needed at the right time. But, later on, he became a national hero because the decisions he took were right. Some people tell me that Manusha Nanayakkara is also in the UNP, Sri Lanka is also there, Podujana Peramuna is also there. It’s irrelevant. What is important to us is what the need is, and we want to come foward for that need. Party politics is not relevant to us. All we want is to come together to decide where the country should go. In the end, they become national heroes.

President Ranil Wickremesinghe has now joined the Podujana Peramuna. He joined Mr. Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s government. Had to go to a completely opposite place. We scolded Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, Mahinda Rajapaksa, Namal Rajapaksa, I fought with Kanchana in Parliament. But whenever I wanted to, I left talking in the parliament to one side and took a decision. The decision that the people of the country should be picked up when they fell.

We have come to a successful position within two years. Many people scolded me when I made that decision. Right when decisions are made and the final result comes. The same goes for your lives. Some people say different things at the time of the verdict. But if you want to reach your goal, you should forget all the accusations, throwing stones and mud, and go for your goal. Today we are going to the goal of rebuilding that country. If you have a purpose in your life, you can move forward no matter what other obstacles come your way.

Sri Rahula Thero of thotagamuwe, said to the bird selalihiniya to fly Kontagantota, the place where the Parliament is located. The monk said to the salalihinia flying from there that there is nothing that you see, go to the goal given to you, no matter what you see, good or bad. This also means moving forward without looking at the ‘negative’.

Fuel, gas and medicines were lost in the country in recent days. People died in the queues. When that happened, people left the country. The youths thought of fleeing the country. Parents thought that we cannot give education to the children of this country, we should go abroad. Those who could have gone. Professionally qualified people left. But if everyone in this country thought negatively and gave up saying that this cannot be done. What would happen to our country today if Mr. Ranil Wickramasinghe had said that he could not accept it, and I alone could not accept this. What would happen if we thought like others did, that we are doing our politics, we are doing our politics, we are shouting from the opposition and we are going to be beaten down a little more?

If Mr. Ranil Wickramasinghe had not taken over, the country would have been in a situation similar to the burning of the parliament in Kenya. But because we thought ‘positively’, our people were able to build the country. There were some people in this country who thought positively like that. When a group of people left the country, government officials built a ‘community kitchen’ for the people who did not have food in the village. Help saved everyone during the economic collapse. A program was created to take care of the most difficult families in the village, Reassured.

Ten kilos of rice were given. Government officials worked together to recover the fallen. Everyone was positive that they could pull this off. When a group ran away saying that they could not accept this, a group accepted it and took it to the front of the country. The people of the country also kept hope, suffered, made commitments and tolerated it. Our people were waiting with commitment until a light appeared from the corner of tunnell . When that happened, some other people told us not to send dollars to our expatriate workers, to bring down the country. At that time, we made demands and brought 12 billion dollars to the country from foreign workers.

As young people, we need to be careful while working with brands. That’s because social networks understand your algorithm (needs – attitude) and send you more information about it after looking for your needs. Social networks also work with their goals. If our requirements are wrong, they will be sent to us. It feels like the country is falling, and it continues to look like the country is falling. Not only that, the people who join you will also be the same people. It spreads like a wave. If you practice thinking negatively, that social hatred will destroy the country as well.

As soon as good news comes that the country’s debt crisis is over, it is criticized. When they say they will make a developed country in 2048, they say they are sitting. If Ranil Wickramasinghe says that the economy has been rebuilt, he says that it doesn’t matter and his pants will fall off. Even though he lost his pants, he did not let the country fall. Such negative things come into our lives. In recent days, the wave of negativity has spread. But that wave broke and fell. The waves that were called ‘one handful’ have now collapsed. If you drink the poison that comes in the wave, you will lose your life.

Even during 88-89, young people went to experiment and many people in these provinces had to pay with their lives. Ever since independence, we have been caught up in different stories of different parties. “People have been caught in the country since racism,” said the minister.
