Central Bank of Sri Lanka Lowers Key Interest Rates

The Monetary Policy Board of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, in its meeting on July 23, 2024, decided to lower both the Standing Deposit Facility Rate (SDFR) and the Standing Lending Facility Rate (SLFR) by 25 basis points (bps). The SDFR has been reduced to 8.25 percent, while the SLFR has been adjusted to 9.25 percent.
