As the clock ticks down, the Election Commission announced that today, August 5th, is the final day for submitting postal voting applications for the upcoming presidential election.
The Election Commission urges those who have not yet applied for postal voting to visit their designated district election office before midnight to submit their application.
The 2024 presidential election is scheduled for September 21.
A total of 14 candidates have deposited the required security money. Among them, 8 represent recognized political parties, while 5 are from other political parties or are independent candidates.
Nominations will be accepted on August 15th from 9:00 am to 11:30 am.
