Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) Kandy District Member of Parliament, Mr. Velu Kumar, has announced his support for President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
Shortly before President Wickremesinghe left to submit his nomination for the presidential election, Mr. Velu Kumar visited his office on Flower Road to deliver the news of his support.
Mr. Velu Kumar, a prominent member of the SJB representing the plantation sector, first entered Parliament after winning the general election in August 2015. He was re-elected in the 2019 general election, representing the Samagi Jana Balawegaya.
