All vehicle revenue license issuing counters in the Western Province will be closed on September 20, 2024, the Department of Government Information (DGI) announced.
This closure is to allow officials to participate in election duties ahead of the presidential election on September 21, the DGI stated.
To accommodate vehicle owners, licenses set to expire on September 20 can be renewed on the next working day without incurring any fines. Additionally, vehicle owners can renew their licenses online by visiting [www.motortraffic.wp.gov.lk].
