A special gazette notification has been issued, declaring the supply of electricity, all related services, and the supply or distribution of petroleum products and fuel as essential services. The Extraordinary Gazette was issued yesterday (20) by Presidential Secretary Saman Ekanayake, under the directive of President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
