The Department of Meteorology has issued a weather advisory predicting heavy rainfall in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Southern, and North-western provinces, as well as the Mannar district.
The advisory, issued at 9:15 a.m. today, will remain in effect for the next 24 hours. Heavy showers exceeding 100 mm are expected in certain areas during this period.
