The National Building Research Organization (NBRO) has pinpointed around 14,200 houses and buildings situated in high-risk zones, signaling a need for immediate attention.
To address this concern, the NBRO’s Senior Geologist, Laksiri Indrathilaka, announced the forthcoming implementation of a specialized program.
This initiative aims to bolster the safety of roads and public spaces located within these vulnerable zones, prioritizing the well-being of residents and the integrity of infrastructure.
