The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) announced that it will formally request additional information from the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) today (28) concerning the proposed electricity tariff revision.
As part of the third quarterly review for this year, the CEB recently submitted a tariff revision proposal to the commission. According to Jayanath Herath, PUCSL’s Director of Corporate Communications, PUCSL officials are scheduled to discuss the proposal in detail today.
Should the commission determine that further amendments are necessary, the CEB will be notified through an official letter.
