12 Former Ministers Yet to Return Official Residences, Ministry Warns of Legal Action

The Ministry of Public Administration has reported that 12 former ministers have yet to return their official residences to the government.

A senior ministry official stated that preliminary inspections of these residences have been completed, covering household items and assets within the premises.

The ministry has instructed the former ministers to settle all outstanding utility bills, including water and electricity, before returning the residences. Residences will only be accepted if all dues are cleared.

Former ministers have been given until tomorrow to comply, with potential legal action if the deadline is missed.

Currently, the government owns a total of 28 official ministerial residences.
