The Consumer Affairs Authority has announced the commencement of a survey of paddy and rice stocks in ten districts, beginning today.
Chairman Hemantha Samarakoon reported that data on paddy and rice stocks from four districts has already been submitted to the ministry.
He highlighted that the survey is being conducted in accordance with ministry directives to assess and report on paddy and rice stocks in the selected districts.
