The Disaster Management Center has announced a comprehensive program to handle any disaster situation that may arise during the upcoming General Election period.
Director Pradeep Kodippili stated that the Department of Meteorology, Department of Irrigation, National Building Research Organization, armed forces, and the police will collaborate to ensure preparedness.
A special disaster management center will be operational starting tomorrow, running for five days from November 12 to November 16.
