Showers or thundershowers are forecast in the Western, Central, Sabaragamuwa, Southern, Uva, and North-western provinces during the evening or night.
Fairly heavy rainfall, around 75 mm, is likely in some areas of the Western, Sabaragamuwa, and Central provinces.
Additionally, a few showers may occur in the Northern and Eastern provinces in the morning.
Misty conditions are expected in the morning in parts of the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, and Uva provinces, as well as in the Galle and Matara districts.
The general public is advised to take necessary precautions to minimize damage caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
