The Constitutional Council has approved the appointment of new members to the Public Utilities Commission.
The decision was made during a meeting held last night.
The Commission, which consists of five members, will now include Professor K. P. L. Chandralal, Professor W. B. A. Rodrigo, Dr. M. P. S. Fernando, P. Hennayake, and High Court Judge Vikum Kaluarachchi.
