The USS Michael Murphy, a United States Navy Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer, arrived at the port of Colombo on Saturday for a replenishment visit, according to the Sri Lanka Navy.
The Sri Lanka Navy extended a traditional welcome to the visiting ship in accordance with naval customs.
The 155.2-meter-long destroyer is staffed by a crew of 333 and is commanded by Commander Jonathan B. Greenwald.
After completing its replenishment needs, the USS Michael Murphy is scheduled to depart Sri Lanka on November 17.
