The Deputy Ministers of the newly elected National People’s Power (NPP) government were sworn in this evening (21) at the Presidential Secretariat in Colombo.
A total of 29 Deputy Ministers took their oaths before President Anura Kumara Dissanayake during the ceremony. The Secretary to the President, Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake, was also present at the event.
