The International Division of the Israel Police Department confirmed this morning that Mrs. Anula Ratnayake, (Jayathilaka) who was a resident of Kelaniya Eriawatiya area, and who went missing after the Hamas attack on Israel on the 7th, died during the relevant attack.
The relevant body is to be handed over to the Sri Lanka Embassy within two days. I would like to inform you that after the identification of the body, the last respects and religious rites will be performed soon.
We will arrange to send the remains to the family members of the deceased as soon as the relevant arrangements are completed.
