The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) has requested an additional two weeks from the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) to finalize and submit its new proposal for revising electricity tariffs.
The CEB explained that it needed more time as the proposal is still being finalized.
The PUCSL had earlier directed the CEB to submit the revised proposal by November 8, following concerns about the consistency of the tariff adjustments outlined in the previously submitted formula.
