Chiefs of Defence Forces Pay Courtesy Call on President Anura Kumara Dissanayake

Following his appointment as the new President, the Chiefs of Defence Forces made a traditional courtesy call on President Anura Kumara Dissanayake yesterday (October 4) at the Presidential Secretariat, according to the President’s Media Division (PMD).

Chief of Defence Staff General Shavendra Silva, Army Commander Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage, Air Force Commander Air Marshal Udeni Rajapaksa, and Navy Commander Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera met with the President and engaged in a cordial conversation.

Commemorative tokens were presented to mark the occasion, the PMD further stated.
