The period for submitting Returns of Income for the 2023-2024 assessment year through the Inland Revenue Department’s online system concludes today.
To assist taxpayers, special help desks have been established at the department’s main and regional offices to offer technical support.
As per regulations, individuals earning over Rs. 100,000 per month or Rs. 1.2 million annually are required to pay taxes.
Notably, this year marks the first time sole proprietorships and partnerships have been allowed to file returns online.
Taxpayers unable to complete the online submission can visit the Inland Revenue Department offices to finalize the process.
