Entrepreneur Dilith Jayaweera, leader of the Mawbima Janatha Party (MJP), has been officially named as the Presidential Candidate of the ‘Sarvajana Balaya’ alliance. The announcement was made a short while ago by MP Wimal Weerawansa, an executive member of the alliance, during its convention at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium in Colombo.
Several prominent members of the ‘Sarvajana Balaya’ alliance, including MP Udaya Gammanpila, MP Gevindu Kumaratunga, and other key figures, were in attendance at the event.
