Election Commission to Announce Maximum Expenditure Limit for Parliamentary Elections

According to the Commission, secretaries of political parties contesting the upcoming election submitted their proposals on this matter yesterday. Representatives of independent groups participating in the election also provided their suggestions regarding election-related expenses.

All these proposals will be reviewed and considered today, following which the relevant gazette notification will be issued.

This announcement will be made in accordance with the Regulation of Election Expenditure Act.
