Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, Mahinda Siriwardena, has been summoned to appear before the Select Committee of Parliament tasked with investigating the causes for the Financial Bankruptcy declared by the Government today at 2 pm.
The Committee, formed specifically to probe the government’s declaration of bankruptcy, will scrutinize Siriwardena to elicit insights into the underlying reasons behind the country’s economic collapse.
