The first results of the 2024 parliamentary elections will be released by 10 p.m. today, according to Commissioner General of Elections Saman Sri Ratnayake.
Voting began at 7 a.m. at 13,314 polling centers nationwide and will conclude at 4 p.m. Counting of the first postal votes will start at 5 p.m., with the overall progress depending on the efficiency of the counting centers.
