The Galle Literary Festival has unveiled an impressive roster of authors for its 12th edition, scheduled to take place from February 6-9, 2025.
The festival will showcase a diverse array of both international and local literary talents, promising a vibrant celebration of words and ideas.
Among the confirmed speakers are International Booker Prize winners Jenny Erpenbeck and Michael Hofmann, along with bestselling authors Afua Hirsch and Sathnam Sanghera. British broadcaster Louise Minchin, mythologist Devdutt Pattanaik, and novelist Kate Mosse will also grace the event with their presence.
In addition to literary heavyweights, the festival will feature a range of speakers, including food writer Ravinder Bhogal and comedian Sashi Perera. Attendees can look forward to a rich and engaging program, complete with discussions, workshops, and performances.
