GCE Advanced Level Examination to Resume Tomorrow Following Weather Disruptions

The Department of Examinations has announced that the GCE Advanced Level Examination, previously postponed due to severe weather conditions, will resume tomorrow as per the revised timetable.

The examination had been delayed twice due to extreme weather disruptions across the island. Commissioner General of Examinations, Amith Jayasundara, confirmed that all remaining subjects will proceed as scheduled, without further interruptions.

A revised schedule has been issued for the subjects missed during the postponement. Candidates are advised to attend their respective examination centers at the times specified in the updated timetable.

To ensure smooth proceedings, the Department of Examinations dispatched question papers for the upcoming examination subjects to divisional collection centers yesterday. These papers are being sent to coordination centers today.

This resumption follows extensive efforts to minimize delays while maintaining the integrity of the examination process.
