The government has granted approval to implement the amended water tariff policy and revised water tariff formula in 2025.
The new tariff policy and formula proposed by the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) were discussed at the Cabinet meeting on April 8, 2024.
It has been directed to forward the new tariff policy and formula, including the necessary amendments, after discussions with all relevant parties.
