Government Printer Ganga Kalpani Liyanage announced the successful completion of printing the nomination and deposit bond papers required for the upcoming presidential election.
She stated that all necessary papers for submitting nominations and depositing bonds have been printed and are ready for distribution.
The printed papers were formally handed over to the Election Commission yesterday morning.
In addition to the nomination papers, Liyanage mentioned that the gazette notification concerning the appointment of election officials has also been forwarded for scrutiny.
She noted that the gazette notification will be officially published either today or tomorrow.
