The Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka (HRCSL) has decided to issue a series of guidelines for government officials and their conduct during the presidential election.
Commissioner Nimal Punchihewa stated that the human rights of the general public are being violated due to officials showing favoritism towards certain parties.
He added that this decision was made after considering such actions.
