IMF Board to Review Sri Lanka’s Economic Progress on June 12

The Article IV consultation and second review under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) for Sri Lanka are scheduled for discussion at the IMF Board meeting on June 12.

State Minister of Finance Shehan Semasinghe stated that the session will evaluate Sri Lanka’s economic policies and progress on reforms.

“We look forward to the continued support of all countries for a successful review to unlock the third tranche, which will further enhance economic stability, growth, and reform efforts. The IMF Executive Board will take up Sri Lanka’s EFF second review on June 12,” he said.
