A delegation from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is scheduled to visit Sri Lanka on October 2nd to hold discussions regarding the third tranche of the ongoing IMF program and its future direction.
The delegation, led by Krishna Srinivasan, Director of the IMF’s Asia-Pacific Region, is expected to meet with Minister of Foreign Affairs Vijitha Herath during their visit. The discussions will focus on the country’s progress under the current program and explore next steps in Sri Lanka’s economic recovery plan.
