Iranian Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Alireza Delkhosh, has expressed hope for strengthened political, economic, and cultural relations between Iran and Sri Lanka under the newly elected government and parliament.
Following Sri Lanka’s successful parliamentary election, Ambassador Delkhosh extended his congratulations to the government and people, calling the election a testament to the nation’s strong democratic traditions.
In his statement, Delkhosh emphasized the enduring bilateral relations between the two countries and expressed optimism that the new political era would promote cooperation in key sectors. He also highlighted the potential for increased inter-parliamentary exchanges and enhanced diplomatic relations under the new government.
