Lanka Sathosa Announces Price Reductions on Essential Goods

Lanka Sathosa Limited has declared a reduction in the prices of twelve essential goods, effective from Saturday (16). Consumers are now able to purchase these items at all Sathosa outlets across the island.

The adjusted prices for the specified items are as follows:

1. White Sugar (1kg): Reduced by Rs. 60/- to Rs. 275/-.
2. Imported Canned Fish (425g): Reduced by Rs. 55/- to Rs. 595/-.
3. Watana Dhal (1kg): Reduced by Rs. 40/- to Rs. 225/-.
4. Local Potatoes (1kg): Reduced by Rs. 15/- to Rs. 300/-.
5. Mettupalayam Potato (1kg): Reduced by Rs. 15/- to Rs. 300/-.
6. Local Canned Fish (425g): Reduced by Rs. 15/- to Rs. 530/-.
7. Bread Flour (1kg): Reduced by Rs. 12/- to Rs. 195/-.
8. Imported Canned Fish (155g): Reduced by Rs. 10/- to Rs. 280/-.
9. Lanka Sathosa Milk Powder (400g): Reduced by Rs. 8/- to Rs. 940/-.
10. Gram (1kg): Reduced by Rs. 5/- to Rs. 535/-.
11. White Nadu (1kg): Reduced by Rs. 5/- to Rs. 207/-.
12. Red Nadu (1kg): Reduced by Rs. 2/- to Rs. 218/-.
