Matale High Court Issues Arrest Warrant for SLC Selection Committee Chairman Upul Tharanga

The warrant was issued due to Tharanga’s failure to appear in court in connection with a match-fixing case related to the 2024 Legends Cricket Tournament.

Ironically, the case was initiated by Tharanga himself. He reportedly left the country for cricket-related purposes without informing the court of his departure.
