The Ministry of Defence has announced that legal action will be taken against individuals who fail to comply with the deadline for returning firearms currently held by civilians.
A senior ministry official stated that any firearms not returned by the due date, or without a filed appeal, will be classified as illegal weapons. He emphasized that the ministry maintains comprehensive records of all issued firearms and their respective owners.
The official also clarified that strict legal measures will be enforced against those who disregard these instructions.
The deadline for civilians to return their firearms is November 21.
