The Ministry of Finance has disclosed an adjustment in casino license fees and renewal fees, commencing from January 1, 2024.
As per the updated fee structure, applicants making a minimum investment of USD 250 million will be required to pay a casino license fee and renewal fee, both amounting to Rs. 10 billion each.
For those investing a minimum of USD 500 million, the corresponding fees are set at Rs. 5 billion for the license and Rs. 10 billion for the renewal.
Existing casino operators, licensed before January 1, 2023, will encounter a license fee of Rs. 2 billion. This sum is divided into Rs. 500 million for the initial five years and Rs. 1.5 billion for the subsequent 15 years. Furthermore, the renewal fee for these operators is fixed at Rs. 10 billion.
