Murali, Chris Gayle, Gautam Gambhir And Other Legends Pick Semi-Finalists For ICC World Cup 2023(Watch)

Legends of the game including Chris Gayle, Gautam Gambhir, Robin Uthappa, Shane Watson, and others have named their semi-finalists for the ICC World Cup 2023. The tournament will begin on 5th October in India and the preparations are in full flow. 

The teams have started arriving in India and the warmup fixtures will be beginning from 29th September. The first practice game will be played between South Africa and Netherlands on 29th September in Thiruvananthapuram along with Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh in Guwahati and New Zealand vs Pakistan in Hyderabad. 
A total of 10 teams will be competing in the tournament and it’ll be an enthralling contest to watch. With the tournament just around the corner, former cricketers have picked their semi-finalists for the event. The summit clash of the ICC World Cup 2023 will be played on 19th November. 
Starting with Jacques Kallis, he picked India, England, South Africa, and Australia. Former Australian cricketer Aaron Finch too was asked about the same and he backed India, Australia, England, and Pakistan, saying that Men in Green have a pretty balanced side heading into the World Cup. 

Chris Gayle echoed Aaron Finch’s voice and backed India, Australia, England, and Pakistan to reach the final of the ICC World Cup 2023. Gautam Gambhir had the same three teams as of Gayle’s. But he replaced Pakistan and batted for runners-up for the 2019 World Cup New Zealand to be the semi-finalists. 

Sunil Gavaskar and Irfan Pathan were on the same page as they picked India, Australia, England, and New Zealand. Whereas Muttiah Muralitharan rooted for India, Pakistan, England, and South Africa to reach the semi-finals of the ICC World Cup 2023.
Former Australian all-rounder Shane Watson picked India, Australia, England and Pakistan. Sanjay Manjrekar, however, left out Pakistan and backed New Zealand instead along with India, Australia, and England. Robin Uthappa surprised many as he left out England, picking India, Australia, New Zealand, and Pakistan.
