National People’s Party (NPP) presidential candidate Anura Kumara Dissanayake has declared that the upcoming election will be a critical moment for uniting the country to tackle its challenges.
Speaking at a rally in Ampara yesterday (13), Dissanayake highlighted the need for a collective effort to move the nation forward.
“This election is about building the country together,” Dissanayake stated.
He criticized President Ranil Wickremesinghe’s response to agricultural issues, saying, “When the people needed fertilizer for their crops, Ranil stayed at home. In contrast, we have a strong agricultural plan in place and are committed to meeting the needs of farmers and citizens.”
