A package containing 4 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine, known as ‘Ice,’ has been seized at the Central Mail Exchange in Colombo, police reported.
In connection with the parcel, which was sent from Pakistan to Colombo, three suspects have been arrested.
The street value of the seized drugs is estimated to be around Rs. 400 million, according to police.
The package was addressed to a location in the Modara area, with the drugs concealed inside a carpet.
The discovery was made based on intelligence received by Sri Lanka Customs.
