President Anura Kumara Dissanayake held a virtual meeting yesterday (11) with Ms. Samantha Power, Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), to discuss matters of mutual interest and explore potential areas of future collaboration, according to the President’s Media Division (PMD).
During the discussion, Ms. Power expressed USAID’s readiness to support the Sri Lankan government in alignment with the manifesto presented to the people. She also assured President Dissanayake of USAID’s willingness to provide assistance in any capacity needed, reaffirming a shared commitment to advancing development and cooperation between the two entities, the PMD reported.
