A discussion was held between President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and the Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL), Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe, according to the Department of Government Information.
The Secretary to the Ministry of Finance, Mahinda Siriwardene, also participated in the meeting, which took place yesterday evening (24 September) at the Presidential Secretariat.
During the discussion, the country’s current economic situation was thoroughly reviewed. The talks focused on measures to stabilize the economy and addressed several pressing issues affecting Sri Lanka’s financial outlook.
