The All-Ceylon Restaurant Owners’ Association has announced a decision to reduce the prices of multiple food items, effective from midnight today (16), due to the reduction in electricity tariffs.
Harshana Rukshan, President of the association, stated that the price of a normal rice parcel will decrease by Rs. 25. Additionally, the prices of ‘Fried Rice’ and ‘Kottu’ will also be reduced by Rs. 25, while the prices of ‘Parathas’, ‘Egg Rotis’, and short eats will be reduced by Rs. 10. The price of Plain Tea will be reduced by Rs. 5.
He urged restaurant owners to make the necessary arrangements to provide this relief to customers across the island.
