A fruitful discussion between Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya and representatives of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) took place yesterday at the Prime Minister’s Office. The meeting focused on strengthening and maintaining the cooperation between Sri Lanka and the IMF.
Key attendees included Secretary to the Prime Minister Pradeep Saputhanthri, IMF Director for the Asia Pacific Region Dr. Krishna Srinivasan, Senior Head of the delegation Dr. Peter Breyer, Deputy Director of the Economic Research Department of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka Janaka Edirisinghe, and South East Asia and Central Economic Affairs (Bilateral) Senior Director General Darshana M. Perera.
