S. Sridharan has emerged victorious in the election for the leadership of the Ilankai Thamil Arasu Kachchi, securing a majority of votes. The secret ballot to determine the leader of the Ilangei Tamil Arasu Katchi Party took place this morning at the Trincomalee Municipal Council Hall.
Prominent figures, including Members of Parliament President’s Counsel M.A. Sumanthiran, S. Sreedharan, and former MP Sinithambi Yogeswaran, actively contested for the leadership position within the party.
