The Welfare Benefits Board has initiated the second phase of the census for the “Aswesuma” Welfare Benefit Program. This phase was launched in response to the 450,000 applications received to date. The Nuwara-Eliya district has reported the highest number of applications so far. The Welfare Benefits Board aims to conclude this census by July 31.
